It’s almost Showtime! I’ll make this quick… I can’t really blog right now because I am furiously scribbling ridiculous titles and my toddler-like signature on the backs of HUGE piles of 8×10 photographs printed from Readings From The Northside’s 5 year archive, all shot right here on LBI. Above is just a small selection of some of the medium sized canvases that will be on display in Surf City on Friday Night.
And there’s gonna be beer. And clams.
Come experience LBI’s wilder side, and get a little wild yourself. Please share widely. Use leverage, blackmail, guilt trips, and any-and-all other strong arm tactics to get people to come to the Ann Coen Gallery in Surf City on Friday night, and be awed by the amazing things that Hide In Plain Sight among us on the Island. If you rent your home on the Island, call your tenants and tell them you’ll evict them if they don’t send you a selfie taken at the show with Osprey Hero Ben Wurst by midnight on Friday.
Check out the Facebook event and share the love: https://www.facebook.com/events/1001509863232990/
And for anyone thinking that Readings From The Northside has sold out doing this fancy-pants gallery show, know this: this won’t be fancy, it’ll be fun. And, 100% of any proceeds that would come to RFTN from the sale of these pictures is being donated directly to The Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ.
Oh, and you can pet them! Just don’t let Gallery owner Ann Coen see you doing that.
