The Ins-gannet-y continues.
The Ins-gannet-y continues, albeit in the rain, with an estimated 600 skabillion to 900 kabillion Northern Gannet dive-bombing the surf around LBI.
The Incomparable Jay Mann asked today if I saw what they were eating. In the brutal South Winds recently, they did not appear to be catching much.

Jay noted that didn't add up. It is unusual for Gannet to working the surf so close to shore. Jay has been predicting an imminent Bunbker Biomass Explosion based on the power-conservation methods put in place for the oily monsters.
Jay noted that didn’t add up. It is unusual for Gannet to be working the surf so close to shore, and early for Bunker.
