Not only did last weekend’s Pit Stop turn out to be a Turning Point… it has become a direct about face. After weeks of relentless Winds we are now enjoying something you don’t get very often. No Wind. Or at least the lightest Winds imaginable. Yesterday afternoon at 2PM, right on schedule, the winds started to rise and shift, but then something unexpected happened. They went dead. Completely dead, making one of the stillest, glassiest evenings imaginable. This morning we’re are looking at more of the same.
The heat is intense, and yes, there are a few flies but the situation is under control. The Dragonflies should call up some reserves soon though. The ocean is a swimming pool with water North of 70 and not a current in sight. Sadly we have no swell but the paddleboarding & floating on your back conditions are off the charts.
