It’s a pleasure to wake up to a bit of West Wind. Long time readers know that West is the favorite wind of Readings From The Northside, flies be damned. Files should not be a problem today though as the wind is forecast to swing 180 degrees later to a light Southeast. If you want to catch the small but well-formed waves, or get your Whale Watch on, this is the time to hit it.

The early morning skies were gray & foggy (looking very whale-y) but are quickly giving way to some light sun. We’ll have a late afternoon low tide today. If the weather holds out, it should be an endless summer afternoon.
