The early AM showed some promising signs of continuing trends: huge schools of bunker offshore, large Dolphin Pods moving in wide formations, more Snappers leaping in the shallows, hints of sun, and even a little swell. But by noon the Island grew quiet, and only a faint wind provided some electricity to the beach. Today was a dud, like the day after New Year’s or your Birthday. Though the scene was reflective and peaceful, there was a feeling that things are brewing and a new set of wind patterns are set to emerge and bring us the final trends that will define the end of Summer 2012. Rest assured, I’ll be looking for them, then overdoing it with them with merciless hype in the Morning Readings.
While we wait, might I suggest you entertain yourselves and relive the magic with this Readings From The Northside piece of nonsense: Gigglefoot, What a Feeling!
